New Teeth in One Day with Dental Implants
Full-Arch Functional, Beautiful New Teeth in One Day
Tired of wearing dentures that slip around in your mouth and make it so you can’t chew your food? Or are your teeth so broken-down that they need to be replaced? In just one day, Dr. Amini can replace your missing teeth with one that is natural-looking, aesthetic and functional.
The revolutionary New Teeth in One Day procedure is minimally invasive and efficient. Four dental implants are strategically placed at an angle on an arch to take maximum advantage of available bone, eliminating the need for bone grafting for most patients. New teeth are attached permanently to the implants. In some cases, Dr. Amini will place additional implants for extra security.
This treatment is considered to be the modern alternative to dentures—stable, long-lasting and economical. Your jawbone will be preserved and your chewing power restored.
Because of the advanced technology utilized, patients who were in the past not candidates for implants because of too much bone loss can now avail themselves of implant-supported restorations.
Highly trained and experienced implant expert
Dr. Amini is a prosthodontist and has a surgical fellowship in dental implants. A prosthodontist is trained for three extra years above a dental degree on replacing missing teeth, dental implant surgery and in creating well-functioning, aesthetic new teeth.
He has over ten years of experience in the New Teeth in One Day procedure and can do the entire procedure in his office, expertly executing each step.
No bone grafting
With traditional implant treatment, patients with severe bone loss require extensive bone grafting. Dr. Amini uses 3D imaging to locate the areas with most bone, then places longer, specially tapered implants in these locations at angles that will carry the most weight. As a result, no bone grafting is needed.
Walk out with new teeth the same day
The entire implant placement procedure is completed in one day, including any extractions, implant placement and attachment of the new teeth. One or two preliminary consultations are needed beforehand in order for Dr. Amini to prepare for the procedure.
High-tech planning for a minimally invasive procedure
Dr. Amini uses a 3D dental CT scanner (3D X-rays) to capture 3D images in 360º view of the jaw, mouth, nerves and adjacent structures. Using special 3D software, he uses these images to locate areas of best bone volume and density and to plan the implants’ placement ahead of time.
He creates a template, a surgical guide, to place over the gums so that the implants are precisely placed at the right angle. This also eliminates the need for extra cutting into the gum and bone to
find where to locate the implants, making the procedure minimally invasive.
Relaxing, comfortable treatment
Before your procedure, Dr. Amini will explain everything to you so you understand everything clearly, and during your treatment, he will check with you throughout to make sure you’re doing well. Dr. Amini has a gentle touch and is known by patients for his pain-free work.
Dr. Amini ensures patients are fully comfortable during the procedure. Patients can opt to have oral sedation or IV sedation, which is the most efficient and controllable form of sedation that is administered by a medical doctor certified in anesthesiology.
Beautiful, natural-looking and functional permanent teeth
Part of Dr. Amini’s planning is creating the final teeth. These are usually made from a high-grade acrylic which is less prone to chipping and splintering. Dr. Amini can also make them out of porcelain fused to metal or of zirconia, a very strong ceramic. The teeth are made to align perfectly in your mouth for strong chewing and a correct bite. He makes them look very natural and aesthetic.
Temporary, functional denture teeth are attached to the implants immediately following the implant placement. Once the implants have fully integrated into your jawbone, which takes about three months in most cases, Dr. Amini places the final teeth.
Whereas regular dentures provide just 10% of your chewing power, your new fixed-in dentures will recover about 90% of your chewing capability.
